No, uppercase does not have to be used. But you have to specify that the
names are not mono-cased.
In COBOL for example, we specify the PROCESS NOMONPRC. statement. And, yes,
in the binder language, the names get quoted.
So... as an example, here is an excerpt...
strpgmexp *current
export symbol("BillingRateLookup")
export symbol("WindowCustomerProduct")
Note first that it is a double quote (I don't know if the single quote is
acceptable or not) and that the symbols show up in mixed case when the
service program is displayed.
