How about storing the TO-DATE in a data area. The next time that the user logs on and views this screen, the FROM-DATE is the last stored TO-DATE (from the data area) + 1. The new TO-DATE is the system-date, which will then update the data area. Simple, but effective. The first time being used, the data area will need to be populated manually. >>> <Gade_R_Reddy@consecofinance.com> 03/02 11:31 AM >>> Hey Guys, I have a screen where i would take the current system date & display from date and to date. >From date is the first day of the current month (i get this from current system date). To date is current system date. For example:- 1.) Lets say System Date = 03/01/00 ( Wednesday) & if user login on the screen i would display From Date: 02/01/00, To Date: 02/29/00. 2.) Now Lets say if 03/01/00 falls on sunday & the user login on next day 03/02/00 ( monday ), I would have displayed From Date: 03/01/00, To Date: 03/02/00. Since there is no activity on sunday, I want to display From Date: 02/01/00, To Date: 02/29/00 on the screen when user logins on 03/02/00. Any suggestions how can i do the 2nd scenerio.
