Sorry to be pedantic but the question concerned passing numeric parms from the
command line.  Not matter what the shop standard, the AS/400 standard is that
_all_ command line numeric parms are 15,5 no ifs ands or buts.  All other
techniques (including hex) result in the passing of a character string which the
program then _interprets_ as if it were numeric.  In a pinch that's OK - but
surely one should understand what you're doing and why?
