Get day of Week n RPGLE

Just my 2 pennies worth but u can also do the following to get the day of week.

This results in a number between 1 to 7, 1 being Sunday IIRC.

     C     DateIn        SUBDUR    D'1898-12-24' NumofDays:*D
     C                   DIV       7             NumOfDays
     C                   MVR                     DayOfWeek

     C                   IF        DayOfWeek < 1
     C                   EVAL      DayOfWeek = DayOfWeek + 7
     C                   ENDIF
