270 million records in a pf

Hi,
The File in discussion is the backbone of an application. The data in it
forms the basis for various analyses and reports. Shall we say it is a
Market Research Process. The file has to be used quite a few times across
the application. It is appended and updated frequently. On a periodic basis
it is sorted in various orders, as the need may be and reports/analyses of
the info are generated. I hope this answers your query.
