If you set up the proper WRKRDBDIRE on both machines you should be able to use SQL. Look up the CONNECT statement. However the BEST method for the money is to create a Query Management Query using either STRQM (if you have a copy of the files on the 170) or by brute force. Then port that to the 720 and use STRQMQRY to execute it.
