Your submitted job is a new job, totally separate from the job that
submitted it.  Overrides are not inheireted by the submitted job.  You must
do the override in the submitted job.

You should be able to do the override in the submitted RPG program.  Just
make certain the printer file is closed before you do the override.  In
other words, you must code a UC in positions 71-72 of the printer file's
F-spec (RPG-III; if RPG-IV, then code 'USROPN' in the F-spec keywords).  In
your *INZSR subroutine, perform the override, then open the printer file.

If you're doing this and it's still not working, then I'd suspect that you
are coding your OVRPRTF incorrectly.  Remember that you will not get an
error if you code the wrong file name on the OVRPRTF, and that other errors
easily go unnoticed.  If you're still having problems, reply with the
appropriate sections of your RPG code included.
