You *could* have this problem CL-to-CL if the calling CL defined the call
parameters with no specific length:
DCL &A *CHAR
DCL &B *DEC
and the called CL defined them with specific lengths:
DCL &A *CHAR 100
DCL &B *DEC (11 2)
but why would you do that?<g>
