definitions to those entities that indicate quantitative data and avoid
the type of problems mentioned.]
Say it, say it brother!
I have felt this strongly for years. I would go further, and suggest
that such entities as document numbers be alphanumeric. Numeric
fields should only be used, as you say, to express quantities.
