ILE Bug?

Hello List

I have question regarding opnqryf's. A RPG400 pgm and CL was created to 
process an opnqryf to print totals. The pgm worked fine. I then converted 
the pgm to RPGLE, then ran. Program processed all records in file however 
did not process the shared open file with the opnqryf. Is this a bug? We had 
to cpyopnqryf to lib, override then process and delete the file.
Any suggestions welcome-thanks
