DSPJOB OUTPUT(*PRINT)
              OPTION(*JOBLOG)
Thank you Scott, I should of been clearer and spelled my answer out. I felt DSPJOB using the OPTION keyword was more flexible. When/if he ever needs to know more about the job, other than simply creating a job log, he can use any of the other 17 parameters available on the OPTIONS keyword.
Option . . . . . . . . . . . . . > *JOBLOG

  *SELECT                              *ACTGRP
  *STSA                                *MUTEX
  *DFNA                                *THREAD
  *RUNA                                *MLBA
  *SPLF                                *ALL
  *JOBLOG
  *PGMSTK
  *JOBLCK
  *LIBL
  *OPNF
  *FILOVR
  *CMTCTL
  *CMNSTS                                      .

I think you wanted DSPJOBLOG OUTPUT(*PRINT) rather than DSPJOB...
(since thats what he's actually looking to print)
