Very well! One >>cannot<< use EVAL FieldA = *NULL (the *NULL works only with pointers, sigh!). One has to use EVAL %NULLIND(FieldA) = *ON to set a field to null and question with IF %NULLIND(FieldA) = *ON. These are the drawbacks; i'd prefer a %NULLPTR(Ptr), because i use the Ptr = *NULL very seldom. (Of course, we used the %NULLIND a lot in our sources!) The rest worked and works perfect! (We do also have logicals that do only contain records with a To-Date equal null, works also perfect). +--- | This is the RPG/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to RPG400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to RPG400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to RPG400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
