There are still sections of code in programs for some of the core modules of
MAPICS which originated in S/3 applications and haven't required significant
changes.  For example, some of the batch update processing in Product Data
Management closely resembles the process used in the S/3 Bill of Material
Processor (good ol' BOMP :), and the code reflects that heritage.
