Hi, I didn't understand the problem, would you send defination part of code? -----Original Message----- From: Klein Ron [mailto:ron.klein@brctsg.com] Sent: Thursday, November 02, 2000 12:03 AM To: 'RPG400-L (E-mail) Subject: Variable dimension arrays Hi All, I am trying to use a variable for my DIM statement. When I try to compile the program, I get an error that says the identifier is not recognized and it is defaulted to 1. It was my understanding that RPGILE allows for using a variable for defining the DIM in an array. Did I misunderstand that or am I doing something wrong. We are at V4R2.
