I have a program that is trying to acquire an ICF file in order to submit a credit report request. The program stops at the ACQ statement and the job goes into ICFW status. The job log shows that the device name I am using was added to the ICF file and the remote location I am using to chain to the ICF file is correct. The acquire statements appears as shown below * FICF CF E WORKSTN KNUM 1 F KINFDS FEEDBK F KINFSR EXCPTH I* Program information data structure IFEEDBK DS I 38 45 FMTNAM I 273 282 PGMDEV I 401 404 MAJMIN I 401 402 MAJCOD I 403 404 MINCOD CL0N01Factor1+++++++Opcode&ExtFactor2+++++++Result++++++++Len++D+HiLoE Q 0112.00 C CCRMTLOC Acq CBU000F 99 C MAJMIN CABGT'0000' ERROR *** ERROR The next statement after your 'ACQ', Check the Major/Minor return codes via the feddback area, if they are are greater than 0 then look up the error in the ICF programmers reference. If the Major/Minor codes are 0, then either issue a program evoke on the remote system, or do a read to your ICF format to receive data from the program that evoked your program. It's been a few years since I did any APPC ICF programming, but I hope this Helps.
