Hi, gang,
When WINDOW-coding in DDS, we tend to use the most important record to define
our window
When coding SFL in DDS, we tend to assume the SFLCTL-record as being most
important
In combining these to (SFL in WINDOW) however, best is to define the window in
the "humble" footer...
DDS-coding as follows works well:
1.Assume -record: ASSUME ASSUME
2.SFL- record: SUBFL1S
3.SFLCTL-record SUBFL1C SFLCTL(SUBFL1S)
WINDOW(SUBFL1O)
4.SFL-error (no data) SUBFL1E WINDOW(SUBFL1O)
5. FOOTER-record SUBFL1O WINDOW(xx xx xx xx)
WDWBORDER(xxxxxxxxxxxxx...)
RPG-coding stays pretty much the same (WRITE footer before EXFMT sflctl ...)
Hope this helps to solve your problem
Greetings, Michel

Mike,
Are you writing the reference window to the display first? Your reference
window needs to be on the display.
