        You can achieve this by copying the IBM system startup program, 
        
                                     Display System Value               
                                                                
System value . . . . . :   QSTRUPPGM                            
Description  . . . . . :   Startup program                      
                                                                
                                                                
Startup program  . . . . . . :   QSTRUPST       Name, *NONE     
  Library  . . . . . . . . . :     BFTOBJ       Name            
                                                                

        creating your own version with the save system included.

        all you have to do is update system value QSTRUPPGM and call a
pwrdwnsys
