Are you calling the program or creating the program on the other machine? I think this is a Friday 13th problem..... I have a program that was copied to another system. It references a binding directory and several service programs. The service program in question is called SRV1. When I try to call the program, I get an error that it can not find the service program SRV1 in a specific library. Now, in the process of sending the program over to the other machine, the service program and binding directory were also copied to the other machine. I have verified that the service program and binding directory are on the other machine. All of the components are on the other machine. They are all in the library list when I call the program (another thing I verified). The service program library is listed in the binding directory as *LIBL. I checked the program (DSPPGM) and the binding directory (DSPBNDDIR). The program does not state that it references the service program SRV1, and the binding directory lists the service program library as *LIBL. I keep getting the error that it can not find the service program SRV1 in a specific library (that does not exist on the other machine). Now, if I create the library it is looking for on the other machine and place the service program in it, all works. I can not find ANY references to a qualified name of the service program, except for the error message. Any ideas?
