I guess you want to rename the field in the output file because an input
file has a field with the same name but a different description. Why don't
you rename the field in the input file?

I am trying to rename a field on a file that is output only. I tried:
0011.00 FWHPCPD O E DISK
0013.00 IWHFCPD
0014.00 I LOCAT LOCAT5
but received an error:
0005.77 *RNF4005 40 1 File-Name or Record-Name entry is not valid;
input record is
0005.78 ignored.
is there any other way to do it besides describing the file as Input with
Add allowed?
Thank you,
