Used to have a vendor which adopted authority for so many programs that you
stopped asking why. I especially liked it when users called him for
support and he had them run one program which adopted authority that had
one line: CALL QCMD. After seeing this crud I hope the developers here
understand why I am such a curmudgeon when they ask for a program with
adopted authority.

VERY good point Alan, because that could open up the door for rogue stuff
if a programmer was unaware of that !
