Ramanujam, >is it possible to use the QsnRollDown and QsnRollUp apis? There APIs can be used to move *existing* lines of text already on the screen higher or lower. For example, the FTP client could use the roll commands to shift upwards the previous command history, then just send the data for the new line. It is then necessary to clear the line(s) to receive new information. For example, with a roll area of lines 3-16 and rolled up 2 lines, what had appeared on lines 5-16 now appears on 3-14. Lines 15-16 stay the same, and the information on lines 3-4 is lost. The roll APIs *cannot* be used to store a couple of pages of information to let the user scroll between them. You do need to create a session.
