I use my own signatures this way:
STRPGMEXP PGMLVL(*CURRENT) SIGNATURE(' 2.00 01 Jun 01')
EXPORT SYMBOL(sockOpen)
EXPORT SYMBOL(sockRead)
...
ENDPGMEXP
STRPGMEXP PGMLVL(*PRV) SIGNATURE(' 1.00 11 Sep 00')
EXPORT SYMBOL(sockOpen)
EXPORT SYMBOL(sockRead)
I realise that it's not related to avoiding signature violations, but this
looked like a good place to put a useful example of user defined signatures.
