41/19 I vividly remember when I first started programming on the S/38 that the senior programmers used to have arguments about whether to use the cycle or open the file under User Control.... It's there - be aware of it, but I would tend not to use it except for one shots. I pretty much agree with Jon's argument as I prefer to see code that tells you explicitly (within reason) what it is doing. Cheers Evan Harris
