S, you need to dealloc each entry of the list.  Basically you need to do
a DEALLOC to match every ALLOC that you've done.  Be sure you get the
"next" pointer before you dealloc the storage:

   eval p = first
   dow p <> *null
        eval free = p
        eval p = next
        dealloc free
   enddo
