> What if I have a CLP (OPM) that calls an RPGILE with actgroup *caller
(which in turn calls other bound ile modules and srvpgms), do I still get
the benefits of named activation groups?

No. Anything that is *Caller runs where its caller is. Since the caller is
an OPM program the ILE program will run in the default AG. In and of itself
this is not necessarily a problem, but if you call service programs and they
are *caller too it can get ugly quickly.

You should convert the CL to CLLE and then use either a named AG or *New for
the AG of that program depending on what you want to achieve.
