I was searching through my archives for code to help me monitor qsysopr and
came across this code. I also noticed an argument as to whether it works or
not. I copied it and it is running, so I assume it does.
Anyway, my question is...Will this work for monitoring QHST as well? There are
some messages I'd like to capture in QHST that don't necessarily get placed in
QSYSOPR.
pgm
dcl &keyvar *char 4
dcl &msgtxt *char 50
rcvmsg msgq(qsysopr) msgtype(*last) rmv(*no) +
keyvar(&keyvar)
if (&keyvar *eq ' ') do
chgvar &keyvar '*TOP'
enddo
loop: rcvmsg msgq(qsysopr) msgtype(*next) rmv(*no) +
msgkey(&keyvar) keyvar(&keyvar) msg(&msgtxt) +
wait(*max)
sndpgmmsg msgid(cpf9898) msgf(qcpfmsg) msgdta(&msgtxt) +
topgmq(*ext) msgtype(*status)
goto loop
