Hi Jacqueline,

Add the USROPN keyword to the F-Spec entry for the *WORKSTN file. This allows
      control of the opening of this file

which can be conditioned to open only if the program is running in interactive
      mode. To determine run mode at run time

use CL Command RTVJOBA to get the TYPE value (0= batch, 1=interactive). Then in
      your program, if interactive

use the OPEN Op code to open the display file. In batch the file will remain
      closed and so avoid a runtime error.

Also, condition out any reads or writes to the display file formats. However, if
      this means lots of coding then it might be

better to create a batch version of the program and drop the display file
      altogether.
