This error usually occurs because of a mismatch between the parameters being
passed and those expected.

Examine the calling program and the parameters being used and compare them
to the parameters expected by the called program.  Make sure you verify the
order of the parameters, their type (packed numeric, signed numeric,
alphanumeric, etc.), and their length.
