I specifically stated that the different bits of data are unrelated. If you have one program that updates unrelated pieces of data, then you and I differ fundamentally on what a server does, and we really have no common ground. In any event, this discussion does nothing to answer my fundamental question, which is what to do when I have two display files in one application. Why I have two display files is not at issue; how to segment the code is the question. It's a real, working question, not a matter of theory. I was wondering what other people did in this situation, not trying to debate application architecture. Joe
