Pointer question

If I
        Alloc   100     MyPointer
and then,
        EVAL    GenericPointer = MyPointer
and then
        Realloc 1000    GenericPointer
have I reallocated the memory assigned to MyPointer as well as
GenericPointer?

If not, can I accomplish that by then doing
        EVAL    MyPointer = GenericPointer
