I hope you end up using the parameter marker method (the one with the
question marks).  This will make it much easier, and probably a better
performer.

SqlStmt= 'Update HWSRSRL ' +
         ' Set '

         '  BLCODE = ? ' +
         ' Where ' +

Prepare SqlStmt using :SqlStmt


Your pgm loop:
...
Execute SqlStmt using :xCONO, :xCUST, :xCSTN, :xCODE, :mykey
...
end loop:
