I agree it should be APARed else it will never get fixed. However, your
suggestion does not work. You can add a member to the file but you
cannot add data. SEU gives:
EDT0254 File does not have output capability.
CPYSRCF gives:
CPF4194 Member can be opened only for input.
These errors occur because the flags that inhibit data changes have been
set. The only solution I have found is described in my previous append.
