Yikes indeed, but that is exactly the reason. There is enormous, unreasoning, overwhelming pressure on the part of users to not have green screens. I have seen with my own eyes users fall all over themselves praising a 'new' app that was just the old app with the NewLook terminal emulation so it looked like Windows. You know what they liked best? It wasn't that nasty, hideous, backwards, awful green screen - it was soothing, modern, cool Windows - BUT THE SCREENS WORKED THE SAME WAY SO THEY DID NOT HAVE TO RELEARN THE APP!!!!
