I think we did some strange gyrations in which we store the employee number in our Notes address book. And, in the accounting data for each user profile (ACGCDE) we store the employee number. No, we don't store the user profile in the Notes address book because you may have multiple sign on's and the employee number is a better match (at least for our US W2 employees). Then LEI (Lotus Enterprise Integrator) updates a file on our iSeries at night. Therefore a RTVJOB/RTVUSRPRF and a substr of ACGCDE can retrieve the email address. I suppose there might be some way to turn on some sort of LDAP on your mail server and fire off some API which might return the email address.
