variable. But then, I don't see what's the big deal about avoiding
an index variable. Either way, there's still only one lookup.
I'm still getting used to the "monitor" idea in RPG, even though I have
used it already. Even in CL I often do a CHKOBJ instead of monitoring for
the failed operation.
Thanks for pointing out an alternate method.
