An object is a THING that encapsulates both data & methods to operate on that data. A data structure is simply an area of memory that has been given a specific format. There is no means for code to be attached to a data structure. While I have no problem with people discussing object's in terms of RPG futures, and interfacing RPG with other languages (like Java), abstract OO programming discussion should be taken to a more appropriate forum... or CPF0000 (http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/cpf0000).
