Vinayak,

When I recompile a program directly in the production environment, yes, I
can debug .
Only, my colleagues and I don't find it an option to recompile any pgm
that's put into production.
(and recompile all old pgms that might be involved in a debugging process
and that are already in production)

Our procedures always worked untill now and they work if we compile to V5R2.
We have to compile to previous release because of other machines in our
environment.

Recompile from the source and see if u can do the add break point Regards
