According to the manual

F=QB3AYC00&DN=SC41-5712-00&DT=19970306172556 for V4R1) this value identifies
a subfile record as modified for the READC and READ NEXT MODIFIED operations
in RPG and COBOL.  But be careful, this does not work if the record is not
visible on the screen.  SFLNXTCHG, however, works regardless of whether the
record is displayed.
