Scott, the problem with accepting ANY noun, is that you lose any control. take your example for instance: "BOOTS, #519, SIZE 12D " turn it around to read: SIZE 12D BOOTS, #519 size is a noun too. I liked Joel's suggestion to build a kind of wizard to build your description. unless the description is too free form to allow that. rick
