I usually use:

     D PURCH_CONF      DS                  based(prototype_only)
     D                                     qualified
     D   PoNo                         6A
     D   Status                       1A

     D   Amount                       9P 2
     D   SupInfo                     32A   dim(7)

Not a big deal, but I think "prototype_only" is more self-documenting than
"@".

Just a thought.
