Thanks for the explanation.  It's good to be able to 'see' the workings of
someone else's system.

Do you issue OVRDBF commands from ILE?  Do you specify OVRSCOPE(*JOB)?

I want to make it clear that I am not at all trying to argue or tell anyone
that 'my way is better.'  I'd just like to have the details behind the
recommendations (to put in the archives).
