Look for an RNF7303 error in your compile listing.

The problem is that MaxPty1 is 4 bytes long.  MaxPty, however, is 36 bytes
long.  You can't overlay a 4-byte field with a 32-byte field --  unless
that has changed in V5R3?

I'm guessing that it hasn't.  Since QJQL0100.MAXPTY isn't define (due to
the overlay failing) anything that uses it will get an RNF7503 (expression
contains an operaand that's not defined)

Anyway, the fix is to change the overlay to overlay the DS name instead of
the field name...
