This does not work in SQLRPGLE. Only in RPG IV (RPGLE). To get around this problem, change the /COPY's in your mainline code to the /INCLUDE statements. So this: /COPY qcpysrc, myprotos Becomes this: /include qcpysrc, myprotos It will work with the SQLRPGLE since SQL doesn't know about /INCLUDE. Also on V5R3 things change again with /COPY and /INCLUDE, but that will not impact your code. -BOB -----Original Message----- From: rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of P.Legrand@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, October 25, 2004 1:36 AM To: rpg400-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Nested /COPY statements not allowed Hi All I have an SQLRPGLE program which refers to my prototyped definitions through /COPY. Within this /COPY I also refer to other /COPY's but when I compile the program I get the following message - "Nested /COPY statements not allowed". Does anyone have a work around for this? Appreciate your help.
