Eric, 1) CHKPWD CL command. 2) QSYSGETPH API could be used to get a profile handle to the current user ID and then release it. However, if you do, don't use *CURRENT as the password isn't checked in that case. Specify the user's real profile name. I am implementing a custom application where the Controller wants to make sure that if a user leaves their session signed on, that another user cannot sit down at the screen and start taking options.
