just do a
OVRDBF FILE(TEST1) TOFILE(TEST) MBR(TEST1) OVRSCOPE(*JOB)
OVRDBF FILE(TEST2) TOFILE(TEST) MBR(TEST2) OVRSCOPE(*JOB)
in your calling cl

then declare the 2 files as follows:
ftest1 if e disk rename(format:format1)
ftest2 uf a e disk rename(format:format2)

then you can read from format1
and write to format2

don't forget the
DLTOVR FILE(TEST1) LVL(*JOB)
DLTOVR FILE(TEST2) LVL(*JOB)

after calling the rpg
