array = '100', '220', '300', '400', '500'
hash = (100 * 1) + (220 * 2) + (300 * 3) + (400 * 4) + (500 * 5) = 5540

array = '100', '200', '300', '410', '500'
hash = (100 * 1) + (200 * 2) + (300 * 3) + (410 * 4) + (500 * 5) = 5540

Two different arrays, same hash. Ooops. 

How big a field are you storing this in? How about simply concating the
array entries. Or if you need something smaller, concat the array
entries and then get a MD5 hash of that.
