We want to use the QTNRCMTI to determine if Commitment control is
active and want to find out if there are any pitfalls/drawbacks to
using this.

http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/iseries/v5r1/ic2924/index.htm?info/apis/QTNRCMTI.htm

In some situations we use the STRCMTCTL LCKLVL(*CHG) within our
initial CL program and are planning on using the API to activate the
COMMIT key word within our RPG program and have code around the COMMIT
opcode also based on what this API returns.

If any of you have examples of how you have used it within RPG it
would be appreciated.

TIA

Krish
