You are probably entering the code just like that, [ hyphen, one, zero, zero, Field-Exit ]. (Or maybe Field+ instead of Field-Exit).

If this is what I think, try going back to your screen and type instead as follows: [ one, zero, zero, Field-Minus ]. Or, [ one, zero, zero, hyphen, Field-Exit ] maybe.

I suspect this will cure your problem. However, you have certain data-type-code in the display file DDS source that governs what keys may be typed for the field, and how the keys are treated that are used for numeric values.

How to retreive the neagtive value entered by the user from the screen to the
program. I have a numeric field Var1. If I enter a value as -100, inside the
program i am getting the value as 100. So the condition for negative valued
gets skipped. I have also tried few Editcodes and but i ends in vain.
Could anyone tell me how to capture the negative values (entered in the screen)
 inside the RPFLE program.

Thanks
Hari
