I need to debug an RPGLE program that accepts a parameter when it is called. When using the old STRISDB for RPGIII/400 program, you can pass the parm in the call command. How is this done using the ILE interactive source debugger?

Bob -

Assuming that you compiled it with the appropriate debug view (see the DBGVIEW parm on the CRTRPGMOD or CRTBNDRPG commands):

1) STRDBG on the program and set a breakpoint, then press F12 to exit the source display
2) Now call the RPG program, passing the parameter - it will stop at the breakpoint previously set.
