Might help, sure wouldn't be fool proof. For example, if you create a dummy DDM file in a permanent library for compilation reasons, but your production DDM file is created in QTEMP, and you mess up the creation of the one in QTEMP, you're toast. But as one posted alluded, us fools are hard to foolproof against. Rob Berendt
